Parlophony this song, for lack of a better term, kicks ass. "There is no up or down!" Thai rock from the late 60s/early 70s--
Parlophony electric sitar is STILL wonderful.
Parlophony and for my last trick today, here's something for Alex since he enjoyed GC so well yesterday!
Parlophony OK, now the real thing. Can YOU tell the difference? Um, yes.
Parlophony how about some band playing Sloan's the lines you amend in their basement? Guy has a nice ric bass!

The Lines Yoy Amend

Parlophony switching gears yet again (but still catchy, mind you), I give you The Inbreds.
Parlophony this must be hal blaine on this. you can tell.
Parlophony one of the best pop songs EVER. John Phillips had it for awhile...
Parlophony Fugu is fantastic--I think they are working on a new record as I type. Cannot wait.
Parlophony this band was so good. Model Rocket John Ramberg has a new band called the Tripwires that are equally good.
Parlophony Awake is a really great pop song. I just saw these guys in New Orleans and they were f****** great.
Parlophony switching gears....

Young Fresh Fellows Barkey's Spiritual Store

Parlophony Could have went with the obvious (Sweetheart) but this is a great song off of younger than yesterday--Hillman! And I think Clarence White is on this-
Parlophony Poor Gene Clark. He doesn't get ANY credit hardly, and he was great. this is an excellent song he did with the Godsin Brothers in, I think, 1967.
Parlophony one more Nez song, this one a great one off of Tantamount to Treason. Have covered this before, love love love this song.
Parlophony The Burritos (and in particular GP) get ALL the credit, but Nesmith was doing it just as long and sometimes, better.
Parlophony well, let's go on a country rock tangent for awhile. i really like this song. Which is kinda like, duh.
