BigManWalking We musta been voting for President or somethin' - I was whistling this on my walk this morning. I smiled when I saw President Obama in the paper. :-)
BigManWalking She's got a niche. Heard it on the radio and immediately wondered who IS that? Just like Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.
BigManWalking One of my favorites from my coolest category. I'm just sayin...
BigManWalking I like this one a bunch. Reminiscent of some of the 80's stuff and then again, not. Yes. I know it's recent. I'm not out of it...much.
BigManWalking Country music not my favorite - Johnny Cash is an exception - and Wall of Voodoo does this amazing and different take on Ring of Fire. Otherworldly.
BigManWalking Rediscovered these guys a few years ago. Love this album.
BigManWalking I heard this song for the first time in a while on my way to vote. It predates the popularity of alternative & etc... Powerful. & So COOL Obama won!
BigManWalking 91X played this a bunch. I'm not saying that 91X was the cause, but, after a couple years of hearing this, Nelson Mandela was actually free! Liberty
BigManWalking They played this a lot at Licorice Pizza and on 91X for a couple years. Funny, Far Side-ish image if you spell the title wrong!
BigManWalking Tragic, haunting song. First of a "block" of Echo.
BigManWalking My honey's not nearly as enamored with alternative music as I am. But she likes Lips Like Sugar. The Mission U.K. on princesspants' list reminded me
BigManWalking Cute Licorice Pizza employee introduced me to Bill Nelson (NOT Willie) and 91X started playing him regularly - this and Flaming Desire, as I recall.
BigManWalking Another band that 91X introduced to me. Live version. 91X played That'll Do Nicely - a bunch. Found it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9DoP5WPsls
BigManWalking A friend was really into these guys in the late 70's and they became much more popular a few years later. I liked them - my dog, Lady, loved them.
BigManWalking Did 80's spirit leak into the early 90's here (with some 70's-influenced synth?)? Pretend We're Dead. Wild song title. Oh, yeah...definitely females.
BigManWalking Older brother had this 8-Track tape. Amazing that he listened to him and Marvin Gaye AND stuff like Lynyrd Skynyrd. Might sing a medley today.

George Benson On Broadway

BigManWalking Definitely seems out of place on current list. I may sing this and need practice. Sentimental memory from my early childhood. Funny guy/composer.
BigManWalking Gotta practice this one. May be singing some Billy Joel tomorrow. When you're in a relationship this is an even better song.
BigManWalking HERE it is. Clash to wake you up in the morning. My son has recently discovered it. Circle of Life? ;-)
