ids To all good politicians, real and fictional.
ids I miss Kirsty MacColl. "In these shoes? I don't think so." (reblip)
ids I know that I am always saying this about songs by The Divine Comedy, but this might be the most gorgeous song ever.
ids Thanks to @MWeezles for finding this for me. Like I said, good memories from the 1980s! (reblip)
ids This song is almost cheesy, but I like the melody a lot, and her voice is just out of this world.
ids I like this, but blah blah Hunter S Thompson blah blah nation of dancers.. blah blah...

ids This came out in 2003, but for me it represents 2006. I still miss 2006.
ids In honour of the train that I was on earlier, bringing me back home to my family.
ids !This has Maggie Reilly on it, who sang Moonlight Shadow for Mike Oldfield. Still going strong, if you believe her Myspace page.
ids I particularly love the immortal banjo solo in the middle.
ids Ok, I know this is cheesy. Cheers me up, though.
ids In the middle of a bizarre and (for me) unique excursion into hip-hop, caused by @rooreynolds' embedding of Flobots track "Handlebars" into his blog.
ids Meant to be in bed now, but had to blip this - it's my favourite Coldplay song. The melody is just gorgeous.
ids Wonder if this is going to work. Night night, all :)
ids I've no idea what I'm doing. I love this song, though.
