@macbikegeek A big song in my house when I was a kid. Dad's a big David Byrne fan. Same as it ever was is also the motto for Rolling Rock Beer.

This song also inspired "The Hoot Owl," but the version sung by Riley Baugus & Tim O'Brien on the Cold Mountain soundtrack. I do love the Tanyas too.

I wrote "The Hoot Owl" based on this trad song. Sinead O'Connor does an amazing version of this, but Buell is one of the original interpreters.

@sizeofguam I'm wrong again! Turns out on close listen Madonna is saying "I feel like I just got home." Me too, now that I know the proper lyric :-)

@sizeofguam I used to think she was saying "I feel like a disco ball" instead of "I feel like I just got born." I like the disco ball sentiment.

@sizeofguam We thought he was saying "every highway" until we heard the carefree highway story in AZ last fall. Glad we're not the only ones!

I wanted to Blip Fahey's "How Green Was My Valley" to celebrate finishing R. Llewellyn's book of that name, but couldn't find it. But Sligo is swell.

One of Billy's all time favorites. There's always a little Willie in Billy. A concept record which provided inspiration for our Jewell Ridge Coal.

A favorite as well. Love to Bobbie Gentry. Hope she knows that she still has plenty of fans in the world!

One of our favorite Stanley Brothers songs. You can never go back home -- the same.
