JazzJock Jamie Cullum, from the Clint Eastwood movie "Gran Torino". Jamie is excellent & the movie is outstanding. Much better than I expected.
JazzJock Eric Clapton and Cream, with a wonderful version of "Spoonful". Prob not the 16:47 live version I'm listening to on vinyl, still very good.

JazzJock I still like the version I close my show with best, but the "Hamp's Boogie Woogie" part of this 2-song medley is pretty good too.

JazzJock I love this Michael Kaeshammer song. It's from his CD, "No Strings Attached." He's a great pianist!

JazzJock Not exactly jazz, but if classic rock is your bag you'll love this dream lineup. Intro features Mick Jagger looking like he's still in high school.

John Lennon, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton and Mitch Mitchel

JazzJock Boy, this is one to listen to at midnight with the lights turned low...
JazzJock Gene Harris again with the Ray Brown trio. This is a wonderful version of "Summertime".
JazzJock By turns soft, lively, smokey and smokin'... This is jazz piano like only the master, Gene Harris, can do it.
JazzJock I'm thinking I need to find the DVD of this concert.
JazzJock Bernard "Pretty" Purdie, showing them how it's done.

JazzJock Gene Harris and Jack McDuff, with Nikki Harris on vocals. This is one of my favorite versions of this classic song!
JazzJock Part of me has always thought this should be sung with one hand held high, middle finger standing tall. The perfect salute to homophobes everywhere.
JazzJock The rest of the band sits this one out (except for the drummer), allowing this recording to really showcases Hamp's mastery of the vibes.
JazzJock A great live performance by one of the best saxophone players of all time. I'm only sorry I wasn't into jazz in the 70's when this concert took place.

JazzJock Beverly Ritz offers a great solo piano rendition of Freddie Hubbard's classic, "Little Sunflower". I've played this on my show several times.
JazzJock David Sanborn, live at Montreux 1984. The song: "Hideaway". (I'll bet he wishes he still looked this young!) This jazz rocks!
JazzJock Clapton and John Mayer do a lively version of "Crossroads" before a live audience on "Good Morning America"...
JazzJock This wasn't what I was looking for when I searched under 'Sanborn', but I'd sure love to have the DVD of this concert! David w/Clapton, Gadd & Miller!

D'angelo David Sanborn Clapton Marcus Miller... etc

JazzJock I have this DVD (1st Crossroads benefit) & love this version of Layla. Note the sax player: David Sanborn. He and Eric have been friends for 30 years.
