Badges
Badge art will be revealed below as they are earned. This page will eventually show your current progress towards badges.
DJ
The DJ badge is earned by blipping songs.
Level 1: Blip one song.
Level 2: Blip 5 days in a row.
Level 3: Blip 14 days in a row.
Level 4: Blip 30 days in a row.
Broadcaster
The Broadcaster badge is earned by blipping a song with enabled external services (e.g. Twitter, Facebook). You can enable accounts in your service settings.
NOTE: We don't count Last.fm since it's tied to your listening habits, not blips.
Level 1: Blip a song with 1 external service enabled.
Level 2: Blip a song with 2 external services enabled.
Level 3: Blip a song with 3 external services enabled.
Big Spender
The Big Spender badge is earned by giving out props to other DJs.
Level 1: Give props to 10 different DJs in past 24 hrs.
Level 2: Give props to 100 different DJs in past 24 hrs.
Level 3: Give props to 250 different DJs in past 24 hrs.
Headliner
The Headliner badge is earned by getting props from other DJs.
Level 1: Get props from 10 different DJs in past 24 hrs.
Level 2: Get props from 50 different DJs in past 24 hrs.
Level 3: Get props from 100 different DJs in past 24 hrs.
Hot Streak
The Hot Streak badge is earned by having successive blips get props or reblipped by different DJs.
Level 1: Have 5 blips in a row get props or reblipped.
Level 2: Have 25 blips in a row get props or reblipped.
Level 3: Have 100 blips in a row get props or reblipped.
Tastemaker
The Tastemaker badge is earned by having your blips reblipped by different DJs.
Level 1: Be reblipped by 10 different DJs in 30 days.
Level 2: Be reblipped by 100 different DJs in 30 days.
Level 3: Be reblipped by 250 different DJs in 30 days.
Promoter
The Promoter badge is earned by getting friends to sign up for Blip.fm. Note: The only way we can track this is if you use our invite features
Level 1: Get 10 friends to sign up.
Level 2: Get 20 friends to sign up.
Marathon
The Marathon badge is earned by blipping at least once an hour for 24 hours in a row.
Top 10
The Top 10 DJ badge is earned by being one of the top 10 most listened to DJs on Blip.fm when we run our monthly calculation.
Early Adopter
The Early Adopter badge is reserved for the Blip.fm DJs who have been with us since the early days.
Pioneer
The Pioneer badge is earned by being the first DJ on Blip.fm to blip a particular song.
Guinea Pig
The Guinea Pig badge is earned by helping us test the beta site (http://beta.blip.fm) and providing feedback.
NOTE: There are currently no new features on the beta site so no Guinea Pig badges are being awarded right now. We'll be sure to let everyone know when we need help testing, thanks!
Mother's Day
The Mother's Day badge is earned by blipping a song with the #iheartmom hashtag in the message.
NOTE:This badge is offered for a limited period of time prior to Mother's Day.
