cutrosalle Ooooh, this is, like, the _perfect_ summer song.
cutrosalle These drums are _awesome_, and in a song that totally doesn't demand awesome drums.
cutrosalle All three Galaxie 500 albums are coming out on vinyl! And no, I still don't have a record player.
cutrosalle Saw these guys last night at The Linda performing all of their debut album, "Midnight Book." Amazing band.
cutrosalle Looking for a clear, sunny yard sale day tomorrow.

cutrosalle Some songs are like smells; they generate an instant and overpowering sense of--not nostalgia, more like instant time travel. Hello, 1996.

cutrosalle Butthole Surfers are probably way more interesting than their one radio hit (See "Our Band Could Be Your Life"), but I still like "Pepper."
cutrosalle I've been searching for this on Blip 4evah. Happy Tuesday! (Yes, the time/date stamp is late Monday night. You get the point.)
cutrosalle Listened to this album quite a bit over the past couple of days while being driven around Albany and points south by Dr. Brown.

cutrosalle @eurieka - Probably the best television performance of TVotR I've ever seen. I love Letterman's line at the end of this clip, too.
cutrosalle @eurieka - I saw this before I heard the album version. Using a loop station on t.v. is tres ballsy. Even Dave's impressed by the drumming at the end!
cutrosalle Heading out to Boston for the weekend.
cutrosalle You like Metric? You'll like this.

cutrosalle It's hard to overstate my satisfaction with this song.
cutrosalle A song came on in a DuDo's that I thought was "Mexican Radio." It wasn't, but it made me realize that I really wanted to hear "Mexican Radio."
cutrosalle Boys becoming men, men becoming wolves.
cutrosalle @eurieka - saw your twit. I was like: (A) great song and (B) sort of thematically appropriate, since we're off to the Buff for more apt hunting.
cutrosalle Just barely poppier than Television or The Replacements, in a good way. Also, they're The Soft Pack these days, which is probably a good idea.
cutrosalle The horns make me think of James Brown, and the drums sound sharp. Who could ask for anything more? (Cue air punches in time with the beat)
