Pantagruella From the massed ranks of female bass players comes a front runner. Commercial but not awful, touch of Tura Satana. Couldn't put the cover on the wall.

Pantagruella This happens to all of us. Yes, they've come to a secret understanding.

Pantagruella Uriah Heep albums were not always the most rewarding experiences apart from the covers, but this track is a stand-out.

Pantagruella My cassette got soaked. I'll nip down to the local record store and pick it up on vinyl. Oh no! They've all shut down. There's no more music.

Stone The Crows. Big Jim Salter

Pantagruella Surprisingly this is the last song you'd pick for a modern funeral. Maybe in these ironic times this is ideal for a wedding.

Pantagruella Muse are so good, so talented, so clever that it's impossible to like them, and I don't. But well done those Welshmen. Following in Budgie's wake.

Pantagruella Saxon actually believed the Moon landings were real. Check out Capricorn One. The history boys of Barnsley. Inspiring. Epic. Asotronomic.

The Eagle Has Landed

Pantagruella What Iron Maiden cannot convey with lyrical virtue they do with bold repetition. The punk Maiden was terrific. The slogging Maiden is acceptable.

Pantagruella I bought this album for 33p in a W H Smiths sale. Now it's worth thousands of millions of dollars. You can almost smell the pylons listening to this.

Pantagruella We always wish girl bands well but I don't know if have an all-time world-beating outfit yet. My one and only Slunt CD is sturdy and not irritating.

Pantagruella Industrial music! Too much like my day job. I don't want Snipes coming along and turning me to dust. This mis-spelled song is epic though. Dance!

Pantagruella The Russian Revolution. The Glorious Revolution. We're all waiting. If Priest had their way there would be a branch of Halfords in every town.

Pantagruella My favourite reggae band. This is also the more approachable side of Elvis, known to some as the King.

Pantagruella It's not often that a golfer makes a decent song. They should give Alice Cooper more credit.
copaseticT gave props on Jul 11 at 9:38 am
Pantagruella They made fun of Peter Gabriel on Peep Show, but he has to be better than that Phil Collins, still on the run, the say. Viva Eurovision.
copaseticT gave props on Jul 11 at 9:35 am
Pantagruella Obviously every place in Scotland should have a song about it. Never noticed him till he left Genesis. I like bands who play in mist.

Pantagruella All those love and teenage angst songs. We need more serious themes. What about the threat of Rommel's Afrika Korps? Heavy Metal born in Wales.
Hizzapuf1 gave props on Jul 10 at 8:42 pm
Pantagruella It's not fair to let bands like this play in the light. Did you see Billy Idol in Trigger Happy? What, you're English?

Murderdolls White Wedding Live

Pantagruella One of the few heirs to Hendrix, but Robin was out there before Jimi.
