MrJodie An excellent selection from The Dark Knight soundtrack. I looked up Hans Zimmer because my dear friend @sarahndipitous suggested it!
MrJodie This is a talented, young band from Coronado, CA near San Diego. They released their first album in Dec. '07.
MrJodie Okay, this is a VERY clever song. It's using vocal samples digitized to the music of The Buggles. Bravo. Very interesting.
MrJodie Well, I don't know how virtual it is. I see real insanity around me. Changes are happening! Good will overcome. Love conquers all.
MrJodie There are some interesting remixes of this song. None can outdo the original.
MrJodie E. S. Posthumus is a composing duo responsible for so many TV themes and cinema music, it's staggering. Why aren't these guys more famous???
MrJodie Oh, I have always loved this song. Love it still. I miss Freddie's voice.
MrJodie The Black Dyke Mills Band is a brass band most famous for the theme to BBC's Ground Force. They are a musical force to be reckoned with and awesome.
MrJodie It's labeled Mozart, but the work is JS Bach. This is a fantastic chorale arrangement and worth sharing.
MrJodie I had a chance to see this show, live. I've been hooked on Cirque since. Brilliance.
MrJodie Children are a treasure to be tended, safeguarded and as @Choonks says, taught well that cancer can be cured. Peace, love and light. (reblip)
MrJodie This song was a HUGE hit, in the nineteenth century. Work's family was very influential in abolishing slavery and a part of the Underground Railroad.
MrJodie Another catchy eighties tune. I'm grateful for @GR8FL
MrJodie So much talent. Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers, alone, should have carried them. Still, they had a few good tunes.
MrJodie One more for the lovely Eartha Kitt. This is a well done remix of a song she recorded with Bronski Beat.
MrJodie I can't start thinking about jazz ladies without thinking about Eartha Kitt. You will be missed, beautiful lady. Thank you. RIP
MrJodie Well, I do prefer Julie London's version, best, but Peggy can sure serve it up well, can't she?
MrJodie Love the harpsichord piano in this. Rosemary was always such a character. That's why she's so wonderful.
MrJodie Many forget that Freddie was an accomplished pianist. Here's a nice way to remember.
