Band of the Day (2nd song off Five Roses)
wiseacre
I love this version of the song.

LOST frequently makes me think of a TMBG song 'Lucky Ball and Chain'; "as sure as you can't steer a train, you can't change your fate"

Just heard this on a Citi commercial. Crazy. Its a favorite song of mine (from a phenomenal band)
wiseacre
This is dedicated to my crazy neighbor, whom I'm starting to believe may have offed his wife (we haven't seen her in a long time).

This is the way I start my morning, every morning.

I bought Sugar's first album "Cooper Blue" purely based on a review in Ray Gun magazine, just because I thought the magazine was so well designed
wiseacre
Sugar was a spectacular band, which is sadly nearly forgotten (and hard to find here on Blip). I recommend both of their LPs

One of the few songs from "Without Feathers" that I liked; though following up "LWBYH" is a monumental task, I expected much more.
wiseacre
Another great song from "Oceans Will Rise"; the more I listen, the more I love this album.
wiseacre
"Oceans Will Rise" rivals "Logic..." in its completeness and serenity, while exploring new grounds for the band (thankfully no more horn section).
wiseacre
The Stills are one of favorite bands, combining twangs of the shoegaze era and flare for harmony. "Logic Will Break Your Heart" is magnificent
wiseacre
I believe the band (or Dave Bazan to be exact) had run its course when they released "Achilles Heel", explored their full range of sound and concept
wiseacre
I'm feeling every bit of this title today - just the title though. So much to do, to keep up on (though no blood stains or murder or cover up).
wiseacre
Continuing my elbow tribute; more upbeat fare; continuing the great rhythm and beat.
wiseacre
more goodness ... "you little sod I love your eyes"
wiseacre
a building and intricate song, with a monster drum riff and an amazing crescendo. seriously, listen to more elbow, you won't be sorry.
wiseacre
Why elbow is not more popular is beyond me, they're stunningly talented, effortlessly engaging and never pandering. This is one of my favorites.
